Love and Hate

Love me hate me

No matter what God's graced me

Shown his love through the darkness

Shined his light, when hate was at its best

Lord will you please take away the pain

To live is Christ to die is eternal gain

Your life giving blood poured into my veins

Sins so calous, meet love so sweet

Remember what you sow, one day you will reap

Stripes on my back, do I turn the other cheek

Stripes on his back, he was the slaughtered sheep

Tears of blood, still I cry

Why so many of my people had to die

Lord have mercy how sweet the sound

The Lord granted mercy, so i'm no longer bound

Up from the grave, he lifted me

So now I laugh at your hate and bigotry

Sun goes up, Sun goes down

Shines on all of us, white, black, or brown

Got a secret for you, God sees us all the same

We're all born sinners, from the cradle to the grave

Hope you realize, we all have one hope

And that's the blood of Christ

Nothing less nothing more

What must I do to make you see

That to live by hate is hopeless insanity

But to overcome hate with love blesses humanity

So let's wake up before it's too late

And the love is eaten up by all the senseless hate

Together we stand, divided we fall

May the grace of God be upon us all

You Must Be Born Again!

Obviously the only way to heaven is to receive the ressurection life of Jesus Christ and to be placed into the realm of his righteous character. His was not just good character but pure and unadulterated character, without stain or blemish. Only those whose character is pure, that is, without stain or blemish will see true life, now and evermore. Therefore we submit, that the overriding goal of life is to possess eternal life. There is an everlasting death which the Scriptures call "destruction from the presence of God"(2 Thess. 1:9). Another way to explain this is to be separated or cut off from the presence of God for eternity. In the presence of God only, is joy and true pleasures. The so-called happiness and pleasure we experience in this world are but a shadow, if that, of the true essence. The shadow fades and is no more. The reality is forever. Which would you rather possess? Satan's trick is to make it appear that the best is now, but God's best is yet to come. It is partially revealed now, but soon will be fully manifested. Satan and the culture he controls will be found out to be liars, unfortunately, for many it will be to late. Regrettably, the majority will not submit to God's way. They see his way as being suspect, constraining, and boring. How utterly foolish. For so they reject the only WAY of hope in time and eternity. Many will never see the light, and for that they will spend forever in that horror called "outer darkness"(Matt. 8:12). What is Jesus' answer to man's problem. He said, ye must be born again(John 3:7)

When the rain stops

Sometimes it rains in our lives even to the degree of "pouring." But who in the world believes that each day will be sunny or every day will be Sunday. There is a saying, "Into each life some rain must fall." Without rain in nature, what would its course be? From whence would life come? What looks all "wet" may be the spark for a vision of what life really is about--flowering and fruitfulness. As we seek to dodge the rain with our umbrellas, all around is soaking it up, and tremendous things are happening, unseen: unwanted grass does what it is supposed to, flowers fulfill their name. The rain of nuisance and troubles must have positive effect if we would take notice. For example, was God seeking to tell me something? Did I hear, or merely open my rain protector to stop from getting wet and 'needing to change.' Always take notice of the gentle whisper of God's little raindrops or the roaring warning of his flood in your life. It's only his love getting your attention. When the rain stops and it's dry again, what have you really learned from getting wet? Will the lesson be heeded. If not, the next time may be the storm of your life never before experienced, the flood which may devastate your lifeways.
